Older houses — common in Luxembourg — present specific risks: rising damp, electrical upgrades needed, poor insulation, ageing roof structure. Our architect knows these issues and knows where to look.
For newer builds, the challenge is different: we verify build quality, detect potential construction defects, and ensure compliance with plans and standards. This is especially important as the 10-year warranty approaches its end.
The exterior matters too
Subsiding terrace, cracking garage, leaning retaining wall, inadequate drainage flooding the cellar after heavy rain — exteriors are often the forgotten aspect of property viewings.
Our inspection systematically covers the building surroundings: pathways, fences, retaining walls, rainwater drainage, garage and outbuilding condition. A house is a complete package.
